How to read the result: this tool compares your requested charging load — grossed up for rectifier efficiency and the NEC continuous-load factor — against a conservative estimate of your service's spare capacity. It cannot see your panel, your utility's queue, or your soils. The free site survey can. Getting this wrong in your favor helps nobody, so the tool won't.
