The power path
Six steps from
dirt to dispenser.
This is a sequence, not a menu. Skipping the front end is what turns a nine-month project into a two-year one — almost always at the utility interconnection. Here is each step in full, and what you hold in your hands when it's done.
01
Survey & evaluate
Free, and the most important visit of the project. We walk the site, pull the utility's available capacity for the address, locate the nearest transformer with headroom, and check soils, existing service, ADA path of travel and stall geometry. The answer isn't "yes or no" — it's "this much power, this way, on this timeline."
- What you receive
- A written site evaluation: available capacity, service options, recommended power level and port count, distance and routing implications, and the funding programs the parcel qualifies for.

Plan & design
One-line diagrams, load calculations per NEC Article 625, civil and foundation design, and stub-ups sized for the next generation of cabinets — not just the ones on this purchase order. Design is where seven-year thinking gets cheap: oversizing conduit costs little now and saves a second mobilization later.
- What you receive
- A stamped design package ready for AHJ submittal: one-lines, load calcs, site plan, foundation details and an equipment schedule you can put out to bid — though we'd rather build it.

Permit & approval
We work directly with cities and utilities: AHJ plan review, utility make-ready program applications, and the interconnection request. That last item gates your whole schedule — utility queues move on their own calendar — which is why we file it as early as the design allows and track it weekly until energization.

- Approved permits, a filed interconnection request with a tracked position, and make-ready applications submitted before construction — the order that keeps utility money on the table.

Install & validate
Our own crews run the horizontal directional drilling, so your lot stays open and your surface stays intact while power crosses it underground. Then concrete, conduit, switchgear and dispensers — followed by full commissioning and acceptance testing before handover. Nothing gets energized on hope.
- What you receive
- An energized, commissioned site with acceptance test results, as-builts showing every pathway in the ground — including the spare ones — and warranty documentation.

Monitor & metrics
24/7 network insight through your OCPP 2.0.1 back end — yours, not a proprietary lock-in. Uptime, session counts, energy dispensed and fault codes, plus the reporting formats that funding programs require. When a dispenser faults at 2 a.m., the ticket exists before the morning's first driver does.
- What you receive
- Live dashboards on your own back end, monthly performance reporting, and program-compliant uptime documentation.

Maintain & upgrade
Preventive maintenance, cable and dispenser replacement, and power-cabinet upgrades on a schedule instead of an emergency. Because every site leaves step 04 with spare pathways in the ground, going from 150 kW to 400 kW later is a cabinet swap and a weekend — not a re-trench and a season.

- A maintenance agreement with defined response times, seasonal preventive visits, and an upgrade path that was designed in before the first pour.
